What happens?

Alice gets so tall her head is on the roof.She gets upset that she can't get in the door. She starts crying. she is standing in a pool of tears. She sees the white rabbit in fancy clothes.He mumbles about the duchess. He drops his fan. She gets the fan and fans her self with the fan.She drops the fan because she thinks it makes her get small. Then she meets a mouse as she swims in a pool of her own tears. She talks to the mouse about cats and dogs. The mouse is afraid and offended. Then the mouse says he will tell his story about cats and dogs, and they swim to the shore with other animals that have shown up in the pool of tears.


she grows tall she cries her tears that are so big they make a pool [giant puddle] she is in her own pool of tears. The rabbit mumbles to herself about the duchess then she fanned herself and she shrinks to 2 feet. She is questioning herself who she is and she ask herself what is the capital of London? Then a mouse comes by. the mouse is offended when Alice starts talking about her cat she is talking to the mouse about cats and dogs. When we get to shore I will tell you why I dislike cats and dogs. The animals like egret, pelican etc. are now in the pool of tears.

Who is involved? What do we learn about them?

Alice: she talks to herself, she plays games by herself, she talks to animals. So is she lonely? She seems to be from a wealthy family (talks about Mabel's house as shabby).


the rabbit has changed clothes, the mouse is sensitive on the subject of dogs and cats, Alice keeps changing sizes she is small tall, whole group of animals, Mabel the school mate not so bright

animals magically popped up, cake and bottle magically appear

Alice is so alone she is talking to animals. Alice is growing then shrinking growing big then small. changing your prospective changes the way you act and your emotions. if this is a dream what does this tell us?
